According to a survey by the Florida Hospital Association, more than 15% of RN positions were unfilled last year. More than 90% of Florida hospitals reported a shortage of nurses in ICU, Critical Care, Med/Surg, ER, OR, and Telemetry. Right now, there are an estimated 3800 vacant jobs within the state. By the year 2005, an estimated 32,000!
